What does a Business Development Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola? As a member of our sales team, the BDM identifies, evaluates, negotiates and executes contracts for new accounts within the FSOP channel for a Sales Center. Prospects and develops new business by calling on competitive and dry accounts. Responsibilities include:

  • Prospect competitive, new and dry accounts through cold calling and visiting
  • Maximize customer revenue potential by understand their objectives, programs key strategies, concept, competitors, and consumer/shopper targets, and developing collaborative execution plans
  • Execute LOS (look of success) to increase revenue and grow brands
  • Ensure precise, consistent, and timely communication with internal and external customers
  • Order equipment and work with Service team to schedule installation
  • Build relationships at multiple levels and functions in order to influence key internal and external decision makers
  • Create offers for exclusive beverage agreements through profit analysis system and presentations
  • Set up new accounts through the outlet maintenance process, including pricing, call and delivery date Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
    • 2+ years of fast-moving consumer good experience required; beverage industry experience preferred
    • 1+ year of sales, marketing, or service experience required
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
    • Detailed, organized with a strong sense of urgency
    • Ability to work with others, internal associates, external customers and other vendors
    • Ability to work independently & within a group
    • Ability to make decisions & solve problems quickly
