Foresight Technologies, a leader in innovative AI and automation technologies for the manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Purchasing/Buyer to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. This role is crucial in supporting our manufacturing operations by ensuring the timely, cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials and components. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in market analysis, vendor management, and procurement strategy to sustain our commitment to excellence and innovation. Develop effective procurement strategies that align with company goals. Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and terms. Coordinate with various departments to forecast procurement needs. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality, quantity, and timeliness. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options. Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies. Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality. Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies. Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development. Strong negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in supply management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Solid analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
