  Under general supervision of the clinical Director, the EKG Tech is responsible and accountable for the delivery of skilled EKG, Holter monitor, Treadmill and pharmaceutical stress tests stress echo set up, and EEG's. Performs a variety of assignments including filing, transcribing, and ordering supplies.Minimum Education: - - -High School diploma or equivalent education -Minimum Experience/Knowledge: - - -Minimum of 1-year relevant experience in a hospital environment. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Required License/Certification: - - -Valid EKG certification required within 6 months of hire.BCLS certificate current from the American Heart Association.As part of Keck Medicine of USC, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital is the only community hospital in the Foothills area of Los Angeles backed by an academic medical center.
