*Production Planner**Pay Rate: $30.75/hour**Duration One Year**Hours: 1st shift**Location: Glendale AZ 85301**Position Summary: ** Responsible for performing tasks in the production control function.* Estimates and records production rates, prepares shop orders, and reviews stock records to determine stock status.* Considerable knowledge of the job, procedures and terminology.* Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the underlying concepts and technical phases of the job.* Understands practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.* Seeks supervisory direction for issues crossing into other functional areas or with broad impacts.* Can interpolate from facts to understand root causes and on this basis, resolves problems and makes innovative contributions.* Applies understanding of phenomena to observations and designs activities to validate hypotheses.* Limited supervision.* No instructions needed on routine work.* General instructions and/or independent leeway given on new lines of work or special assignments.* Errors difficult to detect and normally result in moderate to significant expenditures to resolve.* Contributions influence major work streams outside of department or function.* Accuracy and reliability of data is critical to utility of project.* May or may not have frequent contacts within and outside own organization.* Minimal to moderate customer contact.* External contacts involve obtaining or providing information on matters of moderate importance to the organization and may be of a sensitive nature.*Must have skills*\* Supply chain background\* ERP system knowledge\* Self Starter\* Attention to detail*Like to have skills*\* Manufacturing background\* Sap*Education/Experience*\* BA/BS\* 1 -2 years of experienceBenefits: (employee contribution)?
