Duties of the Auto Tech include servicing vehicles and engaging with customers. The ideal candidate should have automotive repair experience or training. If you have previous experience as an auto mechanic or auto tech on or off the job, we'd like to meet you.Ultimately, a successful Auto Technician will combine their interest in automotive and customer service with our commitment to supporting your career advancement in being a world class automotive technician.*Responsibilities: ** Change oil, transmission fluid and filters* Install batteries and checks electrical systems* Tire maintenance* Install parts* Road test vehicles*Requirements: ** Reading, writing, and the ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.* Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles* Must have a minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.*A couple more important points...*We accept equivalent qualifications or training certifications. New team members without A.S.E. certifications will have up to 2 years of employment to gain them with our support.
