Essential DutiesCommunicate with Dispatcher/Router for truck/trailer and door assignmentsKeep assigned equipment coupledMove trailers between buildings as directed by Router or Warehouse SupervisorLoad, unload or merge loads between environmentsStage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle driversSet up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty palletsPlace backhauls in correct door to be unloaded by warehouseMake sure all equipment is paired and ready for next day's deliveries.Work with mechanics/vendors, may require email communicationMust attend all required company meetings.All other duties as assigned.**This role is primarily Sun-Thurs, day shift. May require nights/overtime on an as needed basis.**Education/Training: HSD or GED required. Must possess a valid CDL A license.Related Experience: Minimum 2 years over the road commercial driving experience. Must be able to use pallet jack.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have 3 years clean driving record with no DUI convictions. Must be able to pass DOT physical. Must be able to perform all job functions safely. Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position. Must be able to perform coupling procedures for the Tractor/Trailer. Must be able to work Sunday through Thursday shift from 7 pm until finished
