Edward Jones currently has more branch offices than any other financial services firm, and we continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.This role provides quality solutions by supporting a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the operation of enterprise, client/server, desktop computer systems and networks. Incumbent responsibilities include work in the areas of user and systems requirements and analysis, computer systems, network support, batch processing, system maintenance, incident management and data/database analysis/administration.
Incumbent assists in design, development, testing, documentation, implementation and support of quality solutions within targeted timeframes.

- Analyze, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies.
- Investigate and diagnose Incidents to restore failed Technology service(s)
- Resolve Incidents within the specified Service Level Agreements/Operational Level Agreements
- Monitor and collect data on system performance
- Plan, develop and implement procedures
- Generate reporting statistics to identify trending issues
- Schedule vendor maintenance and repair activities
- Perform Change functions to assure maximum performance and reliability
- Perform software reloads and upgrades for desktop computer systems
- Perform Batch Processing
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems associated to monitoring systems
- Follow Methodologies, Standards and Procedures
- Relate technical issues to business operations and impact
- Develop, enhance and maintain documentation for Information Systems
- Facilitates Cross Team communication and cooperation

This is 2nd shift; 2pm - midnight Monday - ThursdayAbility to work a flexible shift in a 24/7/365 environment
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent related work experience
- Minimum 5 years of Analytical, Business and Technical Experience
- Certification in computer science, network administration, Microsoft, or telecommunications specialty programs may be considered in meeting the education and training guidelines
- Technical expertise in areas of concentration in one or more of the following areas: Database, Networking, Systems Analyst and Batch Production Support

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
