REPORTS TOPrincipalFLSA STATUSNon-ExemptSUPERVISESNoDEPTStudent ServicesFTE1.0WORK CALENDAR219GRADEJAPPROVED REVISED1/23/2020SUMMARY: Support the flow of information by ensuring information is entered into the school-related systems and databases accurately and timely; generate reports and compile information relating to the school office; records management and filing; responding to phone calls and requests; performing data entry and database coordination for reports, queries, and input.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the Student Information System (SIS) data steward responsible for high-quality data management.
  • Coordinate student registration and enrollment.
  • Coordinate student withdrawals.
  • Assist parents and students in setting up accounts and utilizing district communication tools.
  • Maintain student cumulative files.
  • Provide student data and summary reporting to a variety of administrator inquiries in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Coordinate and perform advanced student information procedures such as grade reporting and master scheduling.
  • Analyze state and federal reports and correct data as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
  • Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.EDUCATION:
    • High school diploma or G.E.D. EXPERIENCE:
      • Customer service and data entry experience.
      • School office experience preferred.
      • Experience with Student Information System (Infinite Campus) or other school related databases. LICENSING:
        • Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)COMPUTER SKILLS:
          • Demonstrated competency in computer literacy and Excel.KNOWLEDGE OF:
            • Standard practices, methods and materials of assigned work.
            • Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
            • Basic filing and record-keeping principles.
            • Techniques and methods for organizing, prioritizing, and monitoring work.
            • Occupational hazards and applicable safety principles and practices.
            • Uses and properties of supplies and equipment.
            • Applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations.
            • Customer service principles.
            • Modern office technology. SKILL IN:
              • Composing and maintaining basic original documents including reports, and correspondence.
              • Performing basic original research, compiling and assembling data.
              • Organizing tasks, meeting deadlines and prioritizing work.
              • Following directions and meeting standards.
              • Providing attention to detail in assignments.
              • Computer Digital literacy and Excel.
              • Organizing and maintaining records and files.
              • Proofreading and error correction.
              • Business math computations.
              • Exercising confidentiality.
              • Maintaining and updating data and documentation.
              • Comprehending reference books and manuals.
              • Interpreting and applying applicable laws, codes, regulations and standards.
              • Providing customer service.
              • Utilizing a computer and relevant software applications.
              • Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the general public and others to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
