UMEC is an industry leader in BIM technology, and innovative design-assist services for complex mechanical systems, including heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and piping systems for commercial, institutional, high tech, industrial and military clients.SummaryUniversity Mechanical is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to perform the jobsite administrative duties and functions for projects in various markets including Semiconductor, Data Center Markets, Healthcare, Higher Education, Data Center, Manufacturing, and a wide range of other markets. The position requires at least 2-3 years of administrative experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.* The Project Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining project documentation including contract documents, subcontract documents, purchase orders, insurance certificates, safety training records, safety inspection reports, correspondence, and other project documentation.* Receive, and distribute mail and prepare packages for shipping* Accurately maintain various project logs and spreadsheets* Various other administrative duties and functions that may be assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Position Requirements* Must have a minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience, preferably in construction;* Basic knowledge of Safety, Accounting, Purchasing, Subcontracts, Project Start up & Close-out, Contract, Submittals, Pre-Planning, Scheduling, Project Evaluations, Project Changes, and Operating Procedures;* Must have demonstrated knowledge and work experience showing the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily* Proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to Microsoft (Excel, Word, Project, Access, & Powerpoint), Bluebeam Revu PDF editing, and Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software);* This position will require the successful candidate to show proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination.
