We are actively hiring for an IT Analyst III. --Join us and support CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, in achieving our goals.

*Essential Responsibilities:*

* Support of a critical production support application.

* Using tools and data, triages production incidents reported against the Claims Administration System and Document Creation Systems by application users to determine impact and severity.--

* Develops Root Cause/solution recommendations - Analyzes defects with an eye towards finding root cause, recommending both technical and non-technical solution.--

* Creates defects for development fixes and works closely with the Agile development teams to provide guidance on steps to reproduce and impact for prioritization.--

* Participates in Agile ceremonies as required.--

* Maintains triage documentation and knowledge articles for new and existing applications.--

* Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.--

* Assists with maintenance and support for application software.--

* Data analysis experience, including developing and running queries (SQL, PL/SQL) to support the analytical work is a plus for this role.? This position plays a critical role in quickly determining the impact analysis on complex, critical issues for a mission critical production solution.--

* Ability to create non-functional requirements and translate business requirements into non-functional requirements.

* Solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.

* Ability to trace given transactions through a complex system and document how systems and overlapping processes interact.

* The ability to stay calm during urgent issues to properly apply sound analysis to a given situation and problem to determine best course of restoring services is a requirement to be successful.?

* Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* 5+ years System documentation experience and/or technical writing.

* Preferred working knowledge of industry practices and CSAA IG policies and the ability to develop a clear understanding of the company's key functional processes and resources.

In compliance of Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a salary range of $80,750 - 95,000 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay.
