Job Description:

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner II.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of 130 to 150 workers' compensation files, including complex claims
Conduct investigations and determine compensability of claims based on state laws and guidelines
Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors regarding claims issues

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field or three or more years of related experience
Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology
Ability to independently manage complex claims
Proficient in Word and Excel
Certifications and/or licenses as required by State regulation, SIP certification must be obtained within one year of employment
