  Schedule: Full-time
  Shift : 11PM-7:30AM; Week One: Sunday, Tuesday-Thursday, Saturday; Week Two: Sunday-Tuesday, Thursday
  Location: AdventHealth GlenOaks
  The role you'll contribute:
  Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.

    Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
    
    
  • 
    Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
    
    
  • 
    Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
    
    
  • 
    Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
    
    
  • 
    Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
    
    
    Qualifications
    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.
      
      
    • 
      BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
      
      
    • 
      Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
      
      
    • 
      Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
      
      
    • 
      Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
      
      
    • 
      CT experience preferred.
