We'd love to have you join our team!As a CT Technologist at SimonMed, you will be trained on the latest CT technology, including Dual Energy and iterative reconstruction. SimonMed is committed to becoming the Nation's leading provider for low dose CT. You will gain experience in a variety of specialized exams including but not limited to: Coronary CTAs, Dual Energy Metal Suppression, and Kidney stone quantification. This is a PRN position.What You'll Do:Perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detailObtain patient history, explains standard procedures and addresses patient concernsProduce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental proceduresPerform duties directly involved with a range of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathologyRegulate the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and documents PACS imagingOperate equipment safely and maintains SimonMed standards while performing call types of proceduresEstablish and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and facility staffFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and proceduresRely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsWork under general supervisionAdditional duties as assignedWhy You'll Love Working for Us:Health/DentalShort Term/Long Term Disability401K EligibleShift Differential Pay - Available for eligible shiftsPTO Cash Out OpportunitiesCompetitive SalaryWhat We Need from You:Requires registration as an RT and CT Technologist by the A.R.R.T.SimonMed Imaging requires valid CPR certificationHigh school degree or equivalent required3 years of experience preferredPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
