you will doThis position exists within the Clarios Analytics Team,
which is responsible for the overall analytics capabilities within
Clarios at a Global Level. It will help to form and mature regional
capabilities to move Clarios towards a more structured
strategic-decision support system by preparing data assets to be
analyzed and modeled allowing information to be converted into
actionable insights to optimize decisions and drive strategy. The
role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and the
analytics cross-functional teams to document, review, analyze and
evaluate business requests, define solution requirements, develop
specifications, and oversee the execution of tasks and activities
to achieve the desired business outcomes. How you will do it
- Own relationship with business partners, managing demand
intake, product backlogs, story definition, sprint plans and
delivery prioritization process
- Capture formal requirements, user stories, test plans, etc.
which ensure that the solutions developed are tested, meet business
needs and are operationally sustainable
- Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and
updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting
schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring
efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones;
following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and
supplier relationships
- Assess the risks of solution options and recommend alternatives
to mitigate
- Determine operational objectives by studying business
functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements
and formats
- Understand business goals and develop mockups to visualize
insights and elicit feedback to ensure visualizations meet business
needs
- Establish best practices and serve as an advisor on how to
visualize data to provide insights that drives business decisions
and improves overall business performance.
- Engage end-users with tools to facilitate their day-to-day
work, making large and/or complex data more accessible and provide
training and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with Global Analytics team to maximize and leverage
the understanding of business solution functional requirements and
non-functional requirements.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of
current processes using operational metrics and reports
- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support
your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of
approved changes
- Perform regular reviews and analysis of current processes using
operational metrics, developing reports as needed
- Collaborate closely with developers to implement the
requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA
process
- Perform other job-related duties as neededWhat we look
forRequired -
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of eight (8) years of professional relevant experience.

- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, will consider an Associates'
Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Communication skills - Excellent interpersonal skills including
ability to work in collaborative team environments and establish
and maintain on-going business relationships. -
- Requirement gathering skills - Proven record of working with
Business to understand capabilities and translate into technical
requirements in a matrixed environment with global Business and IT
groups
- Issue resolution skills - Proven implementation and issue
resolution experience - including troubleshooting, performance
tuning, and resolving connectivity issue. Problem-solving skills -
ability to navigate technology and organizational issues to
complete project tasks
- High performance / multi-tasking skills - Demonstrated ability
to work in fast paced environment and adapt to changes in
priorities as business needs dictate. Ability to work in a matrixed
environment with multiple IT and business groups
- 3+ years of experience developing visualizations using Tableau,
MS Power BI, Power Pivot, Power Query, SSAS, SQL Explorer
- 3+ years of experience working in one or more of the following;
Oracle, SQL Server, SQL DB, Snowflake, Redshift, MongoDB,
BigQuery,or Hadoop/Hive
- Experience with SSIS, ADF, Talend, Informatica, Matillion or
other ETL/ELT toolsets -
- Experience with Machine Learning is a plus
- Data Architecture, BO Universe or Information design
experience
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQLPreferred -
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing small to medium
sized data projects -
- 5 years years of experience as a Business, Functional or Data
Analyst with a heavy focus on data driven decision making
- 5 years of experience in a customer-facing delivery role
