Our client, an American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate, is looking to bring a Sample Coordinator to their location in Glendale, CA. -

The Sample Coordinator is responsible for tracking the status of samples for the e-commerce sites' product launches to support photography and copy. They will be receiving packages from the mailroom, unboxing, and identifying models on a list. They will log the samples on various sheets, take reference images, and tag and store the physical samples, making them accessible to teams. There is a high volume of samples, so they must be good at visually identifying items, understand the launch process and timing and have a strong understanding of spreadsheets, including Excel and various sheets on Google drive. They will also be expected to lift boxes of samples (up to 40 lbs) and drive a vehicle (both company owned the van and personal cars with mileage reimbursement) to deliver pieces off-site. They will need to keep documents updated daily and support the photo team as needed with other duties such as facilities support, photo assisting, etc. - -
Candidates with experience as a Production Assistant in film, tv, or photography would be a good fit. Need good organizational & communication skills in MS Office (Excel) and Google Apps, Work in a fast-paced environment & multi-task. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs Have good physical organizational skills - packing and shipping. Experience working in e-commerce or retail is a plus. Basic Photoshop skills are a plus.
