Job Purpose:
The Client Service Associate is accountable for delivering high-quality and efficient service to internal and external Real Estate and Hospitality (RE&H) clients by assisting with the Branch's overall workflow processes and providing routine client support. This role reports directly to the Client Service Manager. The Client Service Associate contributes to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing Gallagher's value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating targets, and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

Real Estate and Hospitality Team:
The Los Angeles Real Estate and Hospitality team consists of 35 people who work together to provide insurance and risk management services to clients owning and managing more than $150 billion of assets. The team is the largest dedicated Real Estate & Hospitality insurance brokerage team in the country. Client Service Associate's Primary Areas of Focus:

  • Delivers high-quality service to (RE&H) clients and team members consistent with Gallagher's operational standards and practices
  • Supports the business priorities of the Team Members and the Client Service function
  • Adheres to efficiency/productivity and process standards such as data and documents requirements, timelines, tool usage, etc.
  • Consistently achieves or exceeds operational productivity and performance metrics

Main Accountabilities:
  • Executes business needs that require attention, including routine client service tasks and clerical/administrative work
  • Assists with the Team's overall workflow processes and adhere to renewal timelines
  • Reviews, compiles, and analyzes data, creates documents, completes online applications, certificates, etc. using appropriate systems, services, and resources, to execute work as effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • Processes new business applications and ensures accuracy of client's statement of values
  • Handles routine calls and correspondence with clients and carriers as necessary and appropriate
  • Assists in marketing activities as well as compiles information for the business to submit high-quality and accurate Request for Proposal responses
  • Oversee and manages the RE&H client acquisition and disposition of assets, audits, and accounting needs promptly
  • Follows up with clients to obtain additional information as needed
  • Researches and resolves routine service-related issues independently, involving more experienced RE&H Team Members as appropriate
  • Produces confidential reports for special projects
  • Assists in the development and education of RE&H team members
  • Maintains complete and accurate client and policy data and documents within the Gallagher systems

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years directly applicable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Basic Math skills
  • Associate's degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience preferred.
  • Previous experience managing client relationships.

  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
