Job Description:

The Executive Assistant (People Services) is a partner in providing full administrative support to the Chief People Office and HR team. This individual will apply a clear understanding of Dine Brands business priorities to ensure the CPO is properly prepared and briefed for upcoming events and keep him appropriately informed of urgent business developments throughout the day.

Outstanding skills in diplomacy, confidentiality and working with all levels within the organization including C- Suite. Proven track record in analyzing problems, determining approach, and representing CPO as appropriate. Strong project management skills in compiling /analyzing data and keeping appropriate staff advised. Written and oral communicate with executives, administrative staff, general management and external parties to gather information as needed to complete assignments. Primary responsibilities include preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings and appointments, arranging travel, maintaining communication with and providing information to parties as appropriate.


  • Support the CPO and Dine Brand's commitment on people, provide a warm, approachable professional demeanor to greet visitors, customers, and team members
  • Foster/support a warm and welcoming office of the People Services environment
  • Apply an understanding of the business and attend to requests coming in from various parties with an appropriate level of attention
  • Set up, organize, and maintain correspondence files/records for easy accessibility
  • Maintain calendar of CPO and VP, HR
  • Arrange travel schedule and reservations
  • Prepare expense reports and ensure submission in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate details of offsite meetings, conferences, special events & speaking engagements
  • Engage with the Board of Directors for queries, answers etc.
  • Collaborate with HR, other EAs, and Team Members - a true people person
  • Assist in preparation of presentations submitted by executive staff for BOD and other meeting formats
  • Serve as project manager for various HR initiatives
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Skills & Requirements:

  • High School education or equivalent; AA/BA degree desirable
  • 5+ years of related executive level experience in a fast-paced demanding work environment
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite programs (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to proactively manage calendars to accommodate shifting priorities
  • Participate in identifying and implementing programs to improve company processes and procedures
  • Ability to handle a multitude of projects simultaneously and work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to use discretion about confidential information
  • Exhibit an approachable demeanor and positive disposition
  • Understands that strict confidentiality and discretion are critical
  • Promote company Vision and Values through actions and approach
