Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Security
Operations, the Director, Enterprise Security Systems Strategy and
Technology serves as the principle expert, advisor and strategist
for the development, standardization, deployment, and management of
Disney’s enterprise wide physical security system infrastructure.
This position will analyze current physical security system
policies, strategy and services overlaying these with business and
facility needs, and identify opportunities for efficiency and
enhanced security. The Director will develop a strategic plan
synergistic with Enterprise Information Technology to build
physical security systems and processes that maximize physical and
logical security opportunities and drive long-term effectiveness
across the enterprise. The Director will analyze trends in security
technology and develop a cost effective business case and
integration plan for aligning that vision with needs of the
business and overall goals of the global security organization.
Responsibilities: Partner with business leaders and regional
security management to ascertain current and future security needs,
and develop and execute a strategic plan that achieves cost savings
while building a platform to enable future security systems
Collaborate extensively with Enterprise Information Technology
in the strategy, design, development and implementation of physical
security systems initiatives.
Directs the development of an efficient, effective physical
security system strategy to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of
operations and safeguard the organization and its varied entities
Advises Global Security management and other key Company
stakeholders in identifying, developing, implementing, and
maintaining security processes, practices, and policies throughout
the enterprise as it relates to security systems and access
Researches and deploys cost effective state-of-the-art
technology solutions and innovative security management techniques
to safeguard the organization’s assets.
Oversees a network of security system vendors that collectively
aid in the implementation of all security devices, software and

Basic Qualifications: Ten plus years of direct experience in a
significant enterprise system leadership role.
Must be a strategic thinker and operator capable of monitoring
and commenting on international matters. Must have the ability to
communicate effectively to all levels of the organization as well
as externally to suppliers and partners.
Should display a pragmatic, consultative approach combined with
expertise in world-class security practices. Must have demonstrated

Required Education Advanced degree or equivalent in an area of
study relevant to this position or at least 10-15 years of
experience in private sector corporate security or a related public
Preferred Education Certified Information Systems Security
Professional (C.I.S.S.P.) or Certified Information Security Manager
Certified Protection Professional (C.P.P.) preferred.
