Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists seeks a board-certified
Neurologist or board-eligible, to join our team!!! The ideal
candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment and eager
to grow our existing service! Lakeshore is a rapidly growing, multi-location emergency and
specialty veterinary hospital that provides an exceptional work
environment of talented and collaborative team of professionals who
promote learning and fun. We provide the highest quality of
comprehensive care to our clients and their pets, and are committed
to excellence in service and veterinary medicine. At Lakeshore, you
would work with team members in a multitude of specialties,
including cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, emergency and
critical care, internal medicine, medical oncology, ophthalmology,
radiation oncology, rehabilitation, social work, and surgery. Offerings at Lakeshore include high field MRI (1.5T 12X GE), CT
(8 slice GE Lightspeed), Ultrasound (GE Logiq P5 Premium), and
C-arm Fluoroscopy. We also offer Stereotactic Radiosurgery using a
Varian Trilogy linear accelerator with on board cone beam CT. Our
central hospital is a VECCS-Certified Level-1 Emergency and
Critical Care Facility and has additional equipment including
therapeutic and anesthetic ventilators, endoscopy (flexible and
rigid), telemetry, tracheal stenting, GE Vivid IQ (Cardio)
ultrasound, LigaSure vessel sealing system, integrated PACS system,
hydrotherapy, shockwave and laser therapy, complete in-house
integrated laboratory including standard coagulation (PT, PTT)
thromboelastography instruments and SNAP tests as well as
comprehensive patient monitoring systems. Lakeshore is also an
accredited ACVECC-provisional Veterinary Trauma Center. All three
of our DACVECC's are certified RECOVER instructors, as well as,
several of our staff members are certified RECOVER Rescuers. We encourage and promote professional growth and sustained
learning among our staff through continuing education paid time off
and an education allowance to attend conferences and other events.
