Job Description Job Description Commercial Litigation Associate Commercial Litigation Associate Starting Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 Position Overview We are seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of commercial litigation and a passion for representing clients in complex legal disputes. This role involves providing legal advice, developing case strategies, and representing clients in court. Key Responsibilities - Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies - Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents - Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations - Communicate with clients to keep them informed about case developments - Collaborate with senior attorneys on case management and strategy - Prepare for and attend depositions and hearings - Assist in the discovery process, including the review and production of documents - Stay updated on changes in commercial litigation laws and regulations Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school - Admission to the WA state bar - 2 years of experience in commercial litigation - Strong knowledge of health law, construction law, real estate law, and professional liability - Experience with product liability, breach of contract, business torts, and insurance coverage is highly desirable - Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills - Strong communication and negotiation abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits - Health, dental, and vision - 401(k) and profit sharing plans - Paid vacation - Parental leave - Additional elective programs include: a health flexible spending account, a health savings account, identity theft protection, a dependent day care reimbursement account, commuter benefits, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability protection, an employee assistance program, and emergency travel assistance. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
