Job Description:

A company is looking for a Design Systems Senior Software Engineer for their remote, full-time position in the Engineering department.
Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with design systems designers, product designers, product managers, and engineers to implement solutions for end user and business needs
Author, own, document, and maintain UI components that improve developer experience, thoughtfully address accessibility
Advise product teams and leadership on best practices within the front-end UI scope

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects
At least 3 years of experience working on design systems, front-end application performance, bundling, or other modern, core front-end application concerns
Advanced knowledge in modern javascript technologies and styling strategies (React, Typescript, SCSS, CSS-in-JS)
Experience authoring and maintaining a responsive design system, handling cross-browser compatibility issues
