Job Description:
A company is looking for a Cloud Traffic Envoy Staff Software
Engineer in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage the networking fabric of the company's
cloud-native offering
Focus on performance, security, reliability, and cost optimizations
for traffic in and out of customer's Kafka cluster
Design and develop large-scale distributed systems and manage
network data planes for containerized workloads in the cloud
Required Qualifications:
BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent
work experience
8+ years of relevant cloud infrastructure/cloud networking
experience
Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and
development
Proficiency in C++, Go, Python, or other statically typed
languages
Experience/knowledge with public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and
building and managing Layer 7 proxies, especially cloud-native
proxies such as Envoy
