We are actively hiring for a Staff Software Engineer! Join us and support CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA insurer, in achieving our goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a lead software engineering resource on the Automation Engineering team supporting CSAA in obtaining efficiency opportunities.
  • Stays up-to-date on new automation technologies and methodologies, and continuously seeks opportunities to expand skills and knowledge.
  • Leads the research, design, and delivery of automation software applications.
  • Develops and communicates clear and complete design artifacts as needed to illustrate CSAA's Automation technology.
  • Advises, mentors and participates in design sessions, implementation planning, code reviews and solving problems for Automation opportunities.
  • Collaborates with Leads and Architects to establish a technical vision for various projects and experiences.
  • Proactively finds opportunities and proposes solutions that improve the team's software and processes, improving the efficiency and success of the department.
  • Participates in recruiting, hiring and mentoring exceptional software engineering talent.
  • Collaborates with Operations and IT teams to design, develop and implement automation solutions.

    • 7+ years' successful professional experience in the design, delivery, and support of complex projects across Automation applications.
    • Proactively seeks opportunities to streamline and standardize processes and automation infrastructure.
    • Driven to ensure success and growth of the team in an in-person and virtual environment.
    • Ability to facilitate, and participate, in discussions with operations, vendors and technical stakeholders ensuring engagement, understanding and acceptance.
    • Driven to understand and educate others on automation capabilities.
    • Experience using tools supporting automation infrastructure such as RPA Software (UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere), Python, Advanced Python, Java, Java Script, and Artificial Intelligence.
    • Ability to adapt, and make decisions, quickly to changing priorities, assignments, work you're doing, and timelines.
    • Motivated to develop and deploy a quality product accepted by the stakeholders.
    • Strong customer relationship, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Outstanding oral, written, facilitation, presentation and listening communication skills.

        In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be, performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a salary range of $136,595-$160,700 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
