Job Description:

Install and support local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.-- Must be very strong in networking experience; Cisco Routing/Switching, Data Communications (circuits and cabling) VPN, Wireless Controllers and AP's, DNS, and DHCP-- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking (IPV 4 and IPV 6), familiar with load balancing-- Ability to manage high stress situations calmly and effectively-- Clear understanding of best practices in the areas of security, and back-up/restoration.-- Maintain network servers such as file servers, application servers, database servers, backup appliances, NASs, SANs, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems.-- Excellent knowledge of Windows Active directory, permissions, group policies.-- Implementing and configuring routers and switches including Cisco routers, Cisco switches-- Strong background in Microsoft Windows Server 2003-2012 deployment, design, implementation and administration.-- Working knowledge with virtualization, specifically Hyper-V-- Experience with Exchange 2007 and above, server management and mail troubleshooting-- Undertake routine preventative measures and implement, maintain and monitor network security.-- Support network administration-related requests from Help Desk Specialists.-- Ensure systems comply with industry standards.-- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)-- Must be able to travel nationwide about 25%--
