Job Summary
Leads or performs advanced paraprofessional skilled work including
the review, research, technical and administrative support of an
Employee Support Services and/or program.
Essential Functions
20% Performs research, collects data, and performs basic analysis
and interpretation of data related to Employee Support Services.
Prepares and updates recurring and ad hoc reports. Enters,
updates/edits, and maintains data management human resource systems
and program documentation. Responds to the more complex requests
not resolved at a lower level.
10% Designs and formats documents; composes basic original
documents, correspondence and presentations, as assigned. Organizes
and/or maintains records and logs according to established
procedures.
10% Reviews and provides recommendations for resolution of a
variety of personnel issues and/or resolves discrepancies within
Employee Support Services according to established processes and
procedures Adheres to, reviews and ensures compliance with
applicable policies, processes and procedures; advises managers and
employees on applicable policies.
10% Responds to employee inquiries providing general information
and guidance related to pertinent policies and procedures.
10% Coordinates and administers activities and processes of
Employee Support Services
10% Participates in the development of program/functional materials
and/or training tools.
10% Coordinates and creates payroll documents; researches and
responds to issues and questions regarding payroll, human resource
information system (HCM), time and labor or employee pay
issues.
10% Runs queries to prepare compensation reports and
reconciliation; reviews, approves and processes personnel action
requests to ensure compliance; reviews and audits employee
documentation and reports for data accuracy.
10% Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two
years of human resources program support experience related to area
of assignment.
OR
An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly
related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to
successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those
listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements
set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
