a welcoming patio for alfresco dining, Pinyon invites guests to

fresh, sophisticated dining experience to the community. Position
Overview: The Lead Maitre’d sets the tone for the entire guest
experience. As the first and last point of contact, you will lead
the front desk with poise, warmth, and precision. Beyond greeting
and seating, you will orchestrate the flow of the dining room,
manage reservations (SevenRooms), and collaborate with the service
team to ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless, memorable visit.
This is not simply a host role, it is a leadership position that
requires a confident presence, hospitality finesse, and the ability
to thrive in a high-volume, elevated environment. Key
Responsibilities: Welcome every guest with grace and
professionalism, setting the stage for an exceptional dining
experience. Oversee reservations and guest flow, ensuring efficient
and balanced seating for optimal service. Anticipate guest needs
and manage VIP experiences with discretion and care. Serve as a
communication hub between front-of-house and back-of-house to
maintain smooth operations. Support the other hosts, modeling
elevated service standards at all times. Handle guest concerns with
empathy, professionalism, and swift resolution. Uphold an
atmosphere of warmth and hospitality consistent with Pinyon’s
coastal Mediterranean spirit. Qualifications · Lead Host/maitre’d
experience at a high-volume, upscale restaurant preferred-but we’re
willing to train the right person! · Strong knowledge of
reservation and guest management systems (experience with
Sevenrooms a plus). · Polished communication skills with the
ability to connect with diverse guests. · Calm and professional
demeanor under pressure; strong problem-solving skills. · Passion
for hospitality and a natural ability to anticipate guest needs. ·
