Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Interventional Radiology Fellowship completion required
• ABR Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology certification (ABR-certified)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an interventional radiologist
• Proficiency with Powerscribe 1 dictation system
• Ability to meet productivity expectations (minimum 61 RVUs per shift)
• Valid Arizona medical license or ability to obtain licensure for locum tenens assignment

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures: biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filter placement, fistulagram with declot, biliary and venous interventions
• Provide general radiology reads as needed to support the on-site radiology department
• Cover general fluoroscopy procedures during on-call shifts and participate in rotating call and holiday coverage with the current IR practice
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and meet departmental productivity and quality metrics
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes and continuity of care
