Description Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) is a

and rewarding career. The Public Safety Specialist II is
responsible for the delivery of the Public Safety, Emergency
Management, and Environmental Health & Safety programs for the
organization and will be responsible for the protection of life,
theft prevention and executing emergency response procedures at
their assigned locations. This position will also have additional
duties as a site lead in the absence of a practice manager to
perform initial triage of building related incidents, service
recovery, and other site-specific leadership duties.
Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for initial brand appearance
by offering friendly and courteous interactions with others on
campus. Ensure a safe and secure environment of care by monitoring
security, facilities, fire, and other building systems. Responsible
for accurate documentation such as completion of daily, weekly,
monthly, & annual assessments or checklists. Manage facility
incident triage and coordination by serving as the primary point of
contact for building-related issues—including maintenance, safety,
and equipment failures—assessing severity and urgency, initiating
appropriate internal or external responses, documenting actions
taken, escalating complex cases to leadership, and collaborating
with emergency response agencies when necessary. Ensures Staff
Support and Communication such as acting as a point of contact for
staff questions, concerns, or urgent needs during the practice
manager’s absence as well as facilitating briefings or huddles to
maintain team communication and share important updates and promote
a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating
leadership and professionalism. Responsible for assisting in the
janitorial duties of the site to include special assignments such
as trash rounding, cleaning spills, and other cleaning functions.
Attends, participates, and/or assists in meetings, trainings,
community outreach activities, continuing education opportunities,
and other activities as required. Performs other related duties as
assigned. Qualifications Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: ·
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. · Excellent
communication skills including verbal, written and other
communications. · Knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, CDC, CMS,
HRSA, DEA and other regulatory authority rules and guidelines. ·
Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. · Ability to
learn the layout of the property and buildings. · Bilingual
Preferred Education and Experience: · High School Diploma or GED
required; associate’s degree preferred. · 4 years of law
enforcement, security, or military experience required; healthcare
setting preferred. · 1-year supervisorial experience required; 3
years preferred. Other Requirements: · New Hires are required to
pass pre-employment background check and drug testing (effective
11/1/2022). · Current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or must
pass fingerprint clearance within 7 days following hire. · Valid
and current driver’s license and acceptable driving record. ·
Ability to travel as needed.
