Job Description:
Description The Behavioral Health Supervisor will supervise the
Case Management Team (6 staff members currently) across all 6
clinics (1 staff at each clinic). The position will be housed at
our Copperwood II Health Center in Glendale. Mileage reimbursement
offered for travel to the clinics outside of the Glendale location.

and rewarding career. Job Summary: The Behavioral Health Clinical
Supervisor provides clinical oversight, supervision, and leadership
to associate ? licensed and unlicensed behavioral health staff.
This role ensures compliance with state and payer regulations, high
? quality clinical care, staff development, and accurate
documentation to support medical necessity and billing
requirements. The Clinical Supervisor serves as a key clinical
resource for the clinic, working collaboratively with Quality and
Compliance team, department and clinic leadership, and the
multidisciplinary care teams. Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical
Supervision & Oversight Provide documented clinical supervision to
associate?licensed and unlicensed staff in accordance with DHS,
AHCCCS, and ABBHE requirements. Deliver ongoing clinical
monitoring, guidance, recommendations, training, and corrective
feedback. Review, approve, and sign off on all required clinical
documentation , including assessments and treatment plans.
Documentation & Quality Assurance Perform quality review of
clinical documentation at the time of clinical sign?off. Monitor
medical necessity documentation and provide feedback and corrective
education as needed. Complete clinical review and sign?off on all
DCS and APS reports, in collaboration with the Quality and
Compliance team. Participate in documentation audits, staff growth
planning, and quality improvement initiatives. Staff Development &
Training Provide clinical growth opportunities and support for
ongoing staff development . Support and monitor initial training,
retraining, and remediation plans. Conduct clinical observations
including but not limited to Child and Family Teams (CFTs) and for
licensure requirements. Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for
evidence?based practices and ethical decision?making. Clinical &
Operational Support Remain available throughout the clinic day to
provide real?time clinical consultation and oversight . Complete
SMI (Serious Mental illness) evaluations as assigned. Support
clinic and provider transfer requests, ensuring continuity and
appropriateness of care. Cover assigned Care Team inboxes when
staff are out to ensure timely clinical and administrative
follow?up. Collaboration & Administration Work closely with all BH
service lines, Quality and Compliance team, clinic leadership, and
the multidisciplinary teams within the clinic Participate in
interdisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and leadership
initiatives. Qualifications Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Strong clinical judgment and ethical decision ? making Excellent
written and verbal communication Ability to train, coach, and
support diverse clinical staff Detail ? oriented with strong
documentation review skills Effective time management and
organizational abilities Collaborative and solution ? focused
leadership style Ability to adhere to the professional code of
ethics. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience: Active, unrestricted clinical license
(LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent). Active registration on the AZBBHE
Clinical Supervision Registry in good standing. Minimum of 2 years
post ? licensure clinical experience 1 years of experience
supervising associate ? licensed or unlicensed behavioral health
staff preferred Strong knowledge of medical necessity, clinical
documentation, and behavioral health regulations. Physical
Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a
computer. Must be able to navigate various departments of the
organization’s physical premises. Other Requirements: New Hires are
required to pass pre-employment background check and drug testing
(effective 11/1/2022). Current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
or must pass fingerprint clearance within 7 days following hire.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
