Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,174 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: ER (Emergency Room) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years ER experience License: Yes Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC and ATCN preferred Must-Have: - Must have at least 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience. - Pass fail exam on Day 1 of orientation. - Candidates are required to pass a specific exam prior to accepting. Description: Responsible for providing comprehensive care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Must be proficient in trauma care and manage a variety of acute conditions. Expected to float between various facilities as needed. Must have a natural hair color and no facial piercings. Males must be clean-shaven for fit testing. Competence in sterile field maintenance is crucial. Nurses will participate in educational modules related to lifts, restraints, and wound care. Familiarity with various patient diagnoses, including trauma, burns, and pediatric cases, is required. Staff will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring quality patient care and safety. Expected to adhere to hospital policies and procedures for patient care and safety. The environment is dynamic, with a high volume of patient interactions. Must be able to read telemetry strips and manage basic ventilator settings. Charge nurses will manage task delegation and supervision of nursing staff. The unit has a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4. Two to three shifts of floor-specific orientation will be provided. Common patient volumes include approximately 250-300 patients per day. Availability for weekend shifts is required, with a minimum of four weekend shifts every four weeks.
