Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work varied schedule with weekend and holiday rotation requirements /n• May float to support other units as needed /n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients /n• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs /n• Formulate and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team /n• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, and supervise healthcare team activities /n• Document all nursing activities in patient records accurately and timely /n• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed /n• Participate in research activities and quality improvement initiatives /n• Mentor and precept other nursing staff and students /n• Current valid RN license in state of practice required /n• BLS certification required /n• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required /n• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months required /n• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations /n• Bachelor's degree preferred /n• Professional certification preferred /n/n Facility: /n This medical center is part of a comprehensive healthcare network that provides high-quality patient care services.
