Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab Job Details: • Varied work schedule assignment • Cath lab experience required • Scrubbing experience desired • Structural heart experience preferred • Current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure required • BLS certification required • Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required • Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients • Provide direct patient care in catheterization laboratory setting • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members • Monitor patient physical, psychological, social, and developmental needs • Review diagnostics and laboratory data, report abnormal results to physicians • Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members • Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records • Participate in patient and family education • Maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations • Physical demands include ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend frequently • Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides specialized cardiovascular services including an advanced catheterization laboratory.
