title: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist We are seeking a
Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist who has expertise in working
with children ages birth to five with disabilities to join our
team-based, transdisciplinary model providing evaluations and
ongoing services to young children and families. The position would
include a combination of consultation and direct service. Services
are provided in clinics, client’s homes, and community settings
within the Phoenix metropolitan area. Telehealth is also a service
option for those living in rural areas. In this role you will:
Conduct screening and assessment activities with children on
designated caseload. Integrate information gathered from a variety
of sources for a holistic view of a child and their needs. Plan and
provide speech therapy services that are family-centered and
reflect developmentally appropriate practice and demonstrate
cultural/linguistic sensitivity. Use a team-based approach to work
collaboratively with parents and other team members when planning
and designing individualized goals and objectives for a child’s
Individualized Service Plan Completes paperwork required by Local
Educational Agencies, Head Start or the Division of Developmental
Disabilities accurately and in accordance with specified
regulations. What it takes: Master's degree required. A licensed
speech therapist in the state of Arizona is required. A minimum of
3 years clinical experience serving children is preferred.
Experience working with children with feeding difficulties is
preferred. A systems thinker with experience building workflow
processes is preferred. Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card OR
must qualify for a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is
required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Divers License and
auto Insurance Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card – OR - must
qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
