ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Neuro Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 32-bed Neuro ICU unit with 1:2 patient ratios • 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks required • Holiday coverage based on unit needs and core staff rotation • Must have Level 1 Trauma experience and EVD (External Ventricular Drain) experience • 2 years ICU experience required in large hospital (450 beds) • 3-6 months travel experience preferred • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Must pass DYS exam prior to accepting position (2 attempts allowed) • Pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation • Complete mandatory SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes • Float between all ICU floors and telemetry units (4:1 ratio on tele) • 2-shift floor-specific orientation provided • Work with Cerner EMR system and Phillips monitors • Care for patients requiring critical care with neurological diagnoses including craniotomies, brain tumor removals, spine surgeries • Must have strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience • Natural hair color required, no facial piercings, men must be clean shaven for fit testing • Must have own vehicle for transportation • Scrub color requirement: steel grey for neuro floors • May be placed on standby for scheduled shifts • Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This healthcare facility houses the world's largest neurological disease treatment and research institution, consistently ranked as one of the best neurosurgical training centers in the United States.
