your future. Responsibilities The Padmanabhan Laboratory at the
Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Research
Fellow to join our multidisciplinary research team focused on
innovative investigations in hematology, immune-mediated disorders,
and diagnostic/therapeutic discovery. About the Lab: Our group
integrates clinical insight with cutting-edge research to
understand the mechanisms of immune-mediated platelet and
coagulation disorders and to translate discoveries into meaningful
clinical advances. Our team has contributed to the identification
and characterization of novel disease entities in the field (e.g.
MGTS), and are keenly involved in diagnostic and therapeutic
translation of discoveries. The body of work has been published in
leading high-impact journals (e.g., New England Journal of
Medicine, Blood, Lancet Hematology), and Dr. Padmanabhan’s mentees
have gone on to be recipients of highly competitive NIH grants. We
are seeking a candidate who embodies: • Exceptional attention to
detail in experimental design, execution, and documentation •
Genuine passion for scientific discovery, clinical relevance, and
innovation • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to
collaborate effectively across disciplines • Excellent
communication abilities, both written and verbal • Scientific
curiosity and initiative, with the ability to drive projects
forward • Background in immunology, hematology, biochemistry,
vascular biology, or related areas (preferred) Position
Responsibilities: • Design and conduct experiments in translational
and mechanistic studies • Analyze, interpret, and present data to
the research team and collaborators • Contribute to manuscript
writing, grant applications, and scientific communications • Mentor
graduate students and technologists when appropriate • Engage in a

Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and
education in research. Individuals will train in the research
program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. Qualified
individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as
evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications and
should become competitive for national research grants. Proof of
English proficiency is required for J-1 Short-Term Scholars,
Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns
sponsored by Mayo Clinic. Qualifications • Ph.D, M.D./Ph.D, or
