ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Gilbert, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ED Hold Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) • 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule • Holiday rotation with permanent staff • No call or standby requirements • Patient ratio of 1:4 • Must have strong cardiac telemetry background, preferably 2 years of experience • Required to pass dysrhythmia exam prior to start through UNA (2 maximum attempts) • Must pass PASS/FAIL simulation lab on day one of orientation • Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips without monitor tech support • Required to titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders • Care for ED hold patients waiting for placement on hospital units, primarily medical/telemetry cases • May assist with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration • Will not serve as primary RN for ED patient assignments • Float requirements to medical/surgical/telemetry/overflow units and sister facilities as needed • Navy scrub color required • 2 shifts orientation to Medical/Surgical/Telemetry at primary campus • Use Cerner charting system • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with 31 ED beds and provides acute care services.
