Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work in Intensive Care Unit with varied work schedule • Weekend and holiday rotation required • Possible float assignments to support other units • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for critically ill patients • Provide direct patient care utilizing specialized knowledge and nursing skills • Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to policy • Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members • Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members • Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely • Participate in patient and family education • Current RN license in state of practice required • BLS certification required • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months • Bachelor's degree preferred • Professional certification preferred • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides advanced medical services including intensive care units and multiple specialty departments.
