Trauma Surgeon at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center - Glendale, AZ Banner Medical Group (BMG) is expanding our presence in Glendale, AZ, and we're looking for a talented Trauma Surgeon to be part of our growth story! The Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center offers a dynamic environment where you'll provide comprehensive surgical care within our collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Our surgeons are dedicated to excellence in patient care, resident mentorship, and medical student education. We're seeking a passionate surgeon who can: - Work effectively with diverse students, trainees, and colleagues - Participate in Acute Care and Trauma surgery call - Provide surgical trauma ICU coverage - Deliver backup call coverage as needed - Develop a full-time clinical practice - Educate residents and medical students - Participate in clinical research Your qualifications should include: - Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care - Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery & Trauma - Demonstrated clinical and didactic teaching ability - Experience working with diverse patient populations - ATLS Instructor qualifications and teaching background About Banner Thunderbird Medical Center Serving the Northwest Valley for over 25 years, our facility recently completed a $290 million expansion featuring a Level I Adult Trauma Center for patients 15 and older.
