  L&D Travel RN
  
  --- Monitor patient throughout (before/during/after) the labor
  
  --- Provide information, guidance and hands-on clinical care to expectant parents.
  
  --- Monitor fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor.
  
  --- Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
  
  --- Provide guidance to new parents on all aspects of recovery and infant care.
  
  --- If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
  
  --- Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
  
  --- Availability to work the facility's required schedule.
  
  --- Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
  
  --- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
  
  --- Also referred to as: Labor and Delivery registered nurse, obstetrical nurse, OB nurse.
  
  Job Requirements
  
  --- 1+ year of experience as a L&D nurse
  
  --- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
  
  --- Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
  
  --- BLS certification required
