Terros Health is hiring a Full-Time Health Center Relations Specialist for our 27th Avenue Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. $300 Sign on Bonus Location: 27th Avenue/ South of Indian School RdCustomer Service Experience is a Plus Schedule:Monday-Friday, with various shifts starting at 8:00am - 11:30am Occasional Saturday's (7:45am - 5:00pm) Hours will be one of the following: 11:30am-8:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm FLEXIBILITY TO WORK 11:30 AM - 8:00PM SHIFT PREFERRED Clinic Hours of Operation: 8am - 8pm, Monday - Thursday, and 8am-5pm, Friday - Saturday, closed on Sundays WE WILL TRAIN YOU! $ Additional Language Differential Pay Available (Bilingual in Spanish): +$1/hour$ New Competitive Compensation ($17+/hour DOE) Health Center Relations Specialist Duties Include:

• Greet individuals coming into the clinic in a professional and courteous manner, assist their needs promptly with compassion, in accordance with Terros Health values.
• Answer all incoming calls promptly using the standard greeting, directing calls to requested area or individual
• Process the check in of patients and notify the appropriate staff member of the arrival of patients. Update relevant information during auto-flow by completing four-point check.
• Review and update the daily schedules; ensuring all necessary data is accurately collected.
• Gather and maintain patient demographics, ensuring accurate and complete information, in compliance with UDS guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of insurance levels, such as, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans, and various other types.
• Complete nightly/daily deliverables as determined by the supervisor/practice manager

    High School Diploma, GED within six (6) months of assuming this position Or Associates degree in medical and health (e.g. healthcare administration, insurance billing and coding, psychology) or care social work, human services, communication preferred.At least one- year relevant front office customer facing and focused service experience in healthcare, hospitality (i.e., meeting or conventions, hotel), or banking preferred. Front office experience in healthcare, behavioral health, dental or a medical office is strongly preferred. Familiarity with health insurance eligibility and electronic health record management systems. Experience with NextGen preferred.Intermediate level of competency in Microsoft Suite and web-based programs.Experience in managing a wide range of administrative, support related tasks. Must be well organized, flexible, able to multi-task, possess strong time management skills, attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven track record of delivering a high level of customer service in a healthcare setting.Applicant must possess or be able to attain a State of Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card within (7) days of employment This role is a non-driving position. This position is performed at one location and does not require travel to various Terros Health centers. May be 18 years of age and with less than two years' driving experience or no driving experience.
