The firm specializes in providing exceptional legal services successfully defending medical professionals for a variety of medical negligence and professional liability claims. The partners is seeking a driven experienced attorney that is seeking growth and looking to contribute in a meaningful way to a growing practice group. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of medical malpractice laws, regulations and litigation procedures and have a demonstrated history in handling complex cases. This role requires a minimum monthly billable requirement with the opportunity for a lucrative bonus structure based on hours worked. Additionally, there is significant flexibility to work remotely, with the potential for a mostly remote schedule.This is a full-time position with a competitive generous salary, firm paid benefits, paid parking, board association fees and annual bonuses as part of a comprehensive compensation package.   • Manage a caseload of medical malpractice cases from inception to resolution up to and including trial
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and pleadings.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, representing the firm and its clients.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Stay updated with the latest legal developments and industry trends in medical malpractice.Qualifications:
    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing in medical malpractice.
    • Extensive knowledge of medical malpractice laws, regulations, and litigation procedures.
    • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
