    • 2 years' experience--
    • BLS

    • Registered Nurse experience with critical care experience or medical-surgical or experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedure department Preferred
    • Acute care facility experience preferred
    • BSN preferred6117 Day Shift Offering 8 hr shifts or 12 hr shifts. Require ONCALL assignmens as well. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan coordinates care delivery and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patients situation.Connect electrocardiogram (EKG) leads and alerts doctor of any changes in patient condition. Records analyzes hemodynamic parameters and calculates shunt and valves and other data. Monitors patient analyzes electrocardiogram (EKG) and hemodynamic parameter and reports to physician any changes in patients condition.Operates computerized MIDAS system with accuracy and evaluates and reports significant data and findings throughout all procedures for all patients of various age groups. Operates other specialized equipment: Datascope Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Baxter Cardiac Output Automated Coagulation Timer (ACT) machine American Optical Unistat Oximeter Medrad injector Life Pak Defibrillator Sony digital systems GE Advantx X-ray system.Collaborates with the team of patient family and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe healing humane and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members.
