At Cortica, every team member in every role is instrumental in bringing our mission and vision to life.Cortica is an equal opportunity employer.What will you do?- Establish speech and languagetreatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessmenttools- Consultcloselywithmulti-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies- Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate- Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billingin accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care- Provide play based and goal based interventions to develop receptive and expressive language skills while consideran individualssensory processing, regulation,andmotordifferences- Facilitate functional and stimulatingexperiencestotarget and achieve individualized goals- Devisestrategies andsupportsto help the individual engage incommunication experiences across settings- Collaborate with the individual and family tounderstand their values, interests, and goalsImplement programming that considers all aspects of the child, inclusive of, but not limited to: sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities- Contribute to program development- Educate patients, families, team members,and caregivers on home programs that complement treatmentWhats required?- Masters degree- Licensed to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist- Excellent clinical skills- Desire to work in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting- Flexible and open tolearning- Appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches- A passion for working with children- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information- You are occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions- Team members must occasionallylift and/or move up to 25 poundsWhat are some of the perks and benefits?- Opportunities for career growth and mentorship- Amazing company culture- Highly collaborative, interdisciplinary clinical setting- Competitive salary- Company Health, Dental, and Vision (available on the 1st of the month following your hire date)- Access to 401K retirement plan with company match- Vacation and Paid Holidays- Progressive financialsponsorship program for programs in continuing education- Paid time for administrative workand other non-client facing tasks- Bonuses for referring other employees
