We Are HiringAscension Wisconsin is currently seeking a highly
motivated and energetic state-wide Medical Director for our
Cardiovascular Service Line. This is an exciting new position for
our organization, the Medical Director will be responsible for
co-leading the Cardiovascular Service Line with a Dyad partner, the
Cardiovascular Service Line Administrator. The Medical Director
will serve to oversee physicians and surgeons within the
cardiovascular care space across our market, which includes 17
acute care hospitals and over 100 ambulatory care locations. The
role will include 0.5 FTE administrative and 0.5 FTE clinical

Valley region
- 50 APCs
- 4 Employed cardiovascular surgeons
- Plan and direct medical policies and programs
- De---ne and achieve ---nancial targets in support of business
goals
- Evaluate organizational functions and structure to best
determine the allocation and utilization of services
- Facilitate strategic clinical relationships with
physicians
- Work with leadership to develop a strategic plan for growth of
clinical practice
- Ensure that clinical programs are in compliance with
governmental and regulatory requirements
- Implement utilization review and quality improvement
systems
- Care for diverse patient populations with a well-established
referral base of Primary Care Providers Job RequirementsLicensure /
Certification / Registration:
- One or more of the following required:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical
Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer
date.Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
