Unit Notes:**Cerner Required**
- Unit: Ambulatory - ACC unit, also pre-op
- # beds: They are in process of re-designing unit, about 14 beds currently
- Phase 1 and Phase 2: They will recover Phase 2 (some patients)
- Certs: ACLS, PALS, BLS
- Ratios: based on patient acuity
- EMR: Cerner (Surginet)
- Charge Nurse: yes - they will take a patient assignment
- Nurse Aides: No
- Weekend Requirement: No
- Holidays: No
- Call requirement: No
- Scrub Color: proovided
- Tele: GE
- Vents: No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: No
- IV Team: No
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Shifts: 8 hr shifts, one shift 6-9AM and shifts could last up to 7pm depending on discharges
- Floating: Float to GI lab Pre op and or Phase 2 discharges
- Floor specific orientation: 2-3 on average
- Common types of cases to recover: ACC- pre-op surgical, cath lab, mediports, phase 2 , cardioversions, blood transfusions, antiobiotic infusons
- ICU patients - do they recover in PACU: N/A
- Additional Notes: 2 years experience at a minimum, must be a team player and have a good attitude at all times
Cancellation may cancel up to 3 times per contract. Each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift. (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation).
