Summary:This position leads the global design and implementation of
sustainability programs focusing on Disney Consumer Products within
Disney Experiences. The role drives sustainable product
improvement, measurement, and communication across global DCP
businesses, including vertically developed, wholesale, and licensed

Commitments
- Develop strategies, rollout plans, and training programs to
create more sustainable products with internal teams, suppliers,
and licensees, aligning with TWDC 2030 goals on materials and
emissions (scope 3).
- Implement product, packaging, and manufacturing goals with
global cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategy,
licensing, brand, creative, packaging, product development, legal,
and supply chain.
- Establish formal engagement programs for licensees to
understand scope 3 emissions and set Science-Based Targets.
- Lead a technical team supporting DCP sustainability
initiatives.
- Ensure alignment among various teams working on sustainability
aspects like materials, packaging, and product integrity.
- Coordinate objectives between enterprise CSR, GPP, and global
teams on sustainability policies.
- Develop business processes and systems to track sustainability
KPIs for reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with global teams, including legal and licensing,
to ensure consistent and effective deployment.Sustainability
Messaging
- Work with communications teams to develop sustainability
communication programs aligned with TWDC branding.
- Protect against greenwashing and provide expertise on
product-specific environmental claims.
- Partner with marketing and other teams on sustainability
messaging.
- Monitor policy landscape to deliver best-in-class
communications.Technical, Partner & Relationships
- Provide technical expertise on sustainability initiatives
across categories.
- Act as an expert on product sustainability attributes,
certifications, and life cycle impacts.
- Stay current on industry trends and innovative materials,
sharing insights with business teams.
- Build relationships with licensees and trade organizations on
sustainability topics.
- Partner with sourcing teams on supply chain sustainability
strategies.Required Qualifications and Skills
- 7+ years of progressive sustainability experience in
government, corporate, or professional services.
- Preferred: Direct experience in consumer products or
retail.Education
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, public policy, or
related fields required.
- Preferred: Master's degree in environmental science.The salary
range for this position in Glendale, CA is $151,000 - $202,500
annually. Compensation will consider internal equity, geographic
region, experience, and knowledge. Benefits may include bonuses,
