Cannabis - Director of Sales:
Responsibilities:
---Director of Strategy and planning to build AOP and management
routine
--- Requires strategic thought leadership across our key
channels
--- Provide thought leadership and market level analytics,
insights, and strategy to shape distributor partnership agreements
and internal resource decisions
--- Manage the development and maintenance of sales and distributor
strategies, and programs which drive revenue
--- Work closely with Marketing teams to support field execution to
drive velocity and build brands locally
--- Marketplace Assessment: Develop insights driven approach to
understand industry dynamics and landscape - identifying consumer
trends, competitive activity, channel adjustments, and customer
evolution
--- Identify current and historical demand drivers to the business
and align organization to capture growth against these demand
drivers
--- Account Segmentation & Strategy: Develop account segmentation
strategy with distributors to best capture marketplace growth,
develop long-term brand equity, and outperform marketplace
trends
--- Maintain account segmentation to increase efficiency of
field-sales efforts and effectiveness of points of distribution
--- Sales Support
--- Director of Strategy and Planning to construct customer facing
selling stories
--- Distribution Network Design: Partner with Commercial Leadership
to identify opportunities to improve the organizational
route-to-market model
--- Director of Strategy and planning to develop executive level
presentations for 'top-to-top' meetings
--- Negotiation Process: Develop and implement contract negotiation
process
--- Strategically identify key terms for negotiation, create a
storyline/pitch supporting the term adjustments, that supports
effectively negotiate optimal contractual outcome
--- Partner with Finance / Sales organization to ensure alignment
between distributor and regional targets
--- Facilitate the development of strategy for annual sales
execution metrics, targets and strategic initiatives along with all
necessary tracking
--- Support distributor QBRs and JBPs to ensure targets are
achieved and plan gaps are mitigated through gap closing
measures
