support CSAA IG in achieving our goals.The Sr. Manager of Platform
Assurance is responsible to improve application reliability, ensure
platform quality and reduce risk for all CSAA core insurance and
digital applicationsYour work:
- Manage a team of engineers and analysts responsible for site
reliability and platform quality for CSAA's core Insurance
Applications including but not limited to Policy (PAS), Claims
(CAS), Billing and Payments (Payment Central), Customer
communications, IVR, Mobile Apps, Marketing Automation, Sales
Portals, public website as well as API's and other services used to
deliver a customer and agent experience.
- Define appropriate metrics and targets for applications,
services and key integrations to include Service Level Objectives
(SLO), Service Level Agreements (SLA), Error Budgets and Key Risk
Indicators (KRI).
- Drive reduction in toil through automation of IT Operations
tasks and champion the increased use of automation pipelines and
have experience in DevOps and SRE practices.
- Work with Agile Delivery teams to ensure products and services
are appropriately ready for release to production. Provide
requirements to the Development teams for operationalizing
application stabilization and performance improvements. Has
experience in Quality Assurance best practices and Performance Load
Testing.
- Ensure effective monitoring, logging and alerting frameworks
are used to implement automated monitoring at the application, API,
and UX components. Requires familiarity with APM and logging tools
such as NewRelic, Data Dog and Splunk.
- Ensure appropriate system controls are in place and operating
effectively to validate delivery of business services, meet
requirements for business operations and satisfy audit
requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working with
IT Governance, Risk and Controls processes, audit evidence
collection, findings remediation, exception management, compliance
controls and GRC tools such as Archer.
- Identify, measure and prioritize a backlog of technical debt,
system upgrades and other critical technology improvements and work
with Delivery and other IT teams to drive resolution for improved
sustainability and security.
- Nurture a learning organization culture including a fail fast
mentality ("failing immediately and visibly"), encouragement to
continually expand skills and recognition for innovation.
- Recruit and retain highly talented team members ensuring clear
role definition, active involvement in recruitment, and growth and
development of team members to successfully deliver on priorities
and goals.
- Ensures alignment with corporate and line of business goals and
objectives.
- Leads and manages multiple Manager-led teams and ensures the
high performance and productivity of those teams.
- Coach, and mentor direct reports to become members of a high
performing team that exhibits trust, transparency, shared
commitment, personal accountability and collective results.
- Responsible for concurrent management of several large programs
and projects, and their coordination with other initiatives within
the Enterprise and each other
- Creates and supports succession plans that align and support
organizational goals and objectives.What would make us excited

- Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science,
Engineering, or Business) or an equivalent combination of education
and experience.
- 10+ years experience in managing information technology systems
and projects for a large IT department.
- 10+ years managing people.
- Extensive experience in communicating with executive and
operational management
- Large-scale project or program management experience
- Shows respect for differences through excellent communication
skills with people from an array of backgrounds.Preferred

- MBA or other advanced degree
- Financial services or relevant industry experience (some
combination of Insurance or financial services, automotive

$165,780-$184,200. However, we have a location-based compensation
structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on
county of residence. The full salary range for this position across
all the states we hire in is $149,202-$221,000. This role also
includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary
bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 18% of
