This position reports to the DAA - Army Team Leader and will have responsibility for ensuring execution and compliance of contract requirements as well as supporting strategic business initiatives across related programs. This position will focus on executing existing contract requirements focused on AGT 1500 new engine build program, integrating data, improving existing processes, and implementing new systems for the growing program requirements. Supporting tasks will include championing change based on VOC, driving actions to address non-compliance situations, incorporating Honeywell technology into TIGER, new opportunity development, proposal generation, baseline management, and internal team leadership and customer communications at multiple levels. The successful applicant is accountable for developing and deploying cost effective management operating system, program management processes and methods to achieve improved technical, schedule and cost performance. Key Responsibilities: -Directly responsible for AGT1500 new engine build program performance - including satisfaction of the contract SOW, on-time delivery of all schedule milestones and on-budget cost performance. Other primary performance metrics are the VOC results of the DAA CBT and outside customer. -Establish and maintain appropriate business relationships with assigned customer and program participants and act as management focal point for program related activities. Facilitate team meetings, working groups, governance teams, and other meetings with key stakeholders. -Provide technical expertise in planning, execution, and leadership of program, projects, and initiatives across all non-development program logistics and technical support requirements. Identify and assess new project requirements against existing priorities and workload to prioritize and shape new improvement projects. -Control program scope, baseline changes, and compliance during execution of services and support of assigned projects. -Maintain excellent relationships with all levels of the matrix organization to manage inter-and cross-program dependencies and conflicts. -Ensure appropriate resolution of VOC issues, including customer service requests and customer quality/reliability issues in conjunction with Customer Quality. -Support the successful integration of technology road map for future related contract requirements. -Drive compliance to the AGT1500 new engine build program requirements and metrics for data collection & integration, inventory management, kitting and CDRL milestones. -Apply best practices for operational excellence across all contract requirements and initiatives. YOU MUST HAVE -Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business -8+ years of Engineering, Sales or Business/ Program Management experience WE VALUE -Masters Degree or MBA preferred -Experience leading complex engineering development projects -Demonstrated experience and success in a matrix environment -Strong customer relationship skills -Ability to think strategically while tactically setting goals and tasks scope -Ability to execute to plans while effectively managing risks and opportunities -Solid knowledge of Earned Value Management -Scheduling including resource-loading and critical path analysis -Strong communication (oral and written) and executive presentation skills -The ability to grow, mentor and lead a team of program managers as the business grows -Lead cross functional collaboration, communicate & influenceAdditional InformationJOB ID: req373832Category: Business ManagementLocation: 19019 N. 59th,Glendale,Arizona,85308,United StatesExemptMust be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
