Requisition ID: req28821 Job Title: Intensive Case Management (ICM) Supervisor Sector: Program Administration Employment Category: Regular Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: USD 0.00 - 0.00 Salary Location: Phoenix, AZ USA Job Description Job Overview: This position is funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlements Preferred Communities grant. The Intensive Case Management (ICM) Casework Supervisor will oversee the ICM teams delivery of strengths-based, client-centered case management to single-headed refugee households; survivors of domestic violence and gender-based violence; older refugees; youth and young adults without parents or permanent guardians; refugees experiencing mental health or psychological difficulties; refugees with physical disabilities or medical conditions; unanticipated refugee arrivals and secondary migrants; and refugees who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer (LGBTQ.) Major Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Provide a minimum of bi-weekly, one-on-one supervision with each ICM team member to review client enrollments, progress, need for assistance, and other topics relevant to service provision. + Report regularly to the Resettlement Manager on the needs of ICM clients, escalating any client crises or urgent needs. + Conduct onboarding and ongoing training of local ICM staff; provide ICM team members with adequate training opportunities to grow their skills, knowledge and experience. + Oversee the provision of required services under the ICM program, including initial intake and assessment, ongoing assessments, ongoing case management and referrals to services. + Oversee the quality assurance of case files and case note documentation on a regular basis + Respond to escalated client situations and crises when needed; assist caseworkers in navigating difficult client situations or challenges. + Build strategic partnerships with local service providers and assist the ICM team in ensuring clients have appropriate access to services in the community. + Strengthen partnerships with all community stakeholders, which includes consulting with the State Refugee Coordinator and State Refugee Health Coordinator on a quarterly basis at a minimum. + Liaise and consult with IRC HQ for questions and technical assistance needs. + Attend all relevant training and meetings provided by IRC HQ to remain up to date on program requirements and guidelines; ensure ICM team members are also up to date on program requirements and guidelines. + Oversee the provision of direct assistance to ICM clients by ensuring all financial assistance is properly tracked in ETO and in the clients case files. + Assist Resettlement Manager and local office leadership in addressing any client grievances or complaints brought forth by ICM clients. + Attend ongoing trainings and meetings at both the local and national level that are relevant to the position. + Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree required. A graduate degree in social work, public health, or similar field preferred. Work Experience: + Minimum of 2-3 years in providing case management to similar populations; knowledge of refugee resettlement programming a plus; fluency in a client language highly preferred. Demonstrated Skills & Competencies: + Strong relationship building, diplomacy, and networking skills; ability to effectively build internal and external relationships. + Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment. + Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. + Attention to detail and accuracy in work product. + Fluent in English required, both spoken and written; proficiency in a client language. + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving purposes. + Valid drivers license and access to a personal, insured vehicle. Working Environment: + A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and field time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. + May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
